Seriously?

We are facing what could potentially be the most consequential election of our lifetime and this is the best we can do? Seriously? Where are the truly great conservative leaders in this nation?

Here at Christmas time I recall what Isaiah prophesied concerning the coming of Christ, "...and the government shall be upon His shoulders." Two thoughts come to mind - 1) If we are the body of Christ then we are the shoulders of Christ. 2) The shoulder is a type of responsibility! It is our responsibility as the Body of Christ to shoulder the responsibility of government. We see plainly what happens when the godless rule. My prayer is that God will raise up righteous men and women to lead America again!

  2. Hey Jeff, you are right. I can't believe that we are coming up on the most consequential election in American history and Newt, Mitt, Paul is the best we can do against this horrible person we have as a president. There is a concept called project two thirds. The idea is to get veto proof majorities in the house and senate. The office of the president is far too powerful. We need solid conservatives at every level of congress as a rebuke of the out of control presidential powers.

  3. Jeff, your blog was very interesting. I really do wish we could come up with better candidates. But I mean the following with utmost respect.
The propaganda that cost the Republican vote last election was the same "are these the best our party has to offer? " your blog entry is the cry of almost every conservative media outlet. I was listening to rush the other day and he said that if Republicans loose the race it will not be because Obama was the better choice. It will be because conservatives spent time criticizing conservative candidates. Yeah mitt is morman (not Christian ) and newt come across as a poor front runner. I'm not sold on anyone yet but when it comes down to it, I will support the Republican candidate. Lesser of 2 evils. Lol. I just don't want to see the public hear the media talk about how lame all the Republican candidates are and decided not to support the MOST conservative candidate (which comes down to anyone but Obama ). Thank you for your blog and happy new year! I hope all is well.

  5. Romney is the only viable national candidate on the Republican side--the rest would get wiped out in a landslide loss - IMO. Most Americans are moderate to conservative according to the polling data.

  6. If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14. Doesn't get any clearer.
