What an amazing thing it has been to witness our friend Koryn Hawthorn's awesome journey on NBC's hit show The Voice.
Koryn has been a featured vocalist and worship leader here at Crossroads Church for a couple of years now. We all knew she was an incredibly talented young lady but it was just remarkable to see her advance week-to-week on the show.
I think it really speaks to the fact that along with great talent, America needs/wants to be inspired. Although not all her song selections were Christian or Gospel numbers, she consistently chose songs that would provide inspiration to those who need it.
I was one who was inspired! Inspired by her witness, inspired by her humility and inspired by her VOICE!
Was very disappointed in them putting her in 4th place! She really deserved to win, but she is a winner to us that admire her singing! Just getting to the finals tells a lot about her talent! Hope she can continue to sing at crossroads so that we can still enjoy her anointed and talented voice!
